Dom Mazurski Mącze is a unique house in Masuria (in the past a part of East Prussia) for rent for max. 12 people. The whole place is a restored Masurian farm from the mid-19th century, located in a very quiet and picturesque area, a village about 8 km from Ełk, surrounded by hills and forests. The nearest lake with a small beach is roughly 500m away. Our closest neighbours are about 100m from the house. The property includes: a playground with a tree house and a sandpit, a large gazebo with a hammock and barbecue area, a fireplace, a pond, a ground cellar and a vegetable garden. There are many attractions in the area, such as bicycle routes with stunning views, horse riding, water sports and local food products.

At the house, we tried to keep as many original elements as possible and we did not disturb its layout. For instance, a tiled stove from around 1860 has survived, which now serves as a fireplace (the second fireplace is in the dining room). Most of the furniture comes from the area and creates the character of the place. We love to spend cold days by the fire in the living room playing board games, and in summer enjoy the rustle of linden and poplars in the gazebo on the property. In the evenings, you can listen for hours to the spring concerts of frogs and gaze at the starry sky, cut by falling stars in August.
